For some, it may be too soon to think about Christmas, but around here we like to get an early start. Right after our fall foliage season ends—and “stick season,” as it’s affectionately called, begins—our stores get ready for the bustle of the holidays. In fact, the whole village of Weston gets into the spirit with our annual “Christmas in Weston” celebration. From horse-drawn carriage rides and visiting with Santa to the lighting of the Christmas tree on the town green, it’s a great way to kick off the holidays.

At home, the holidays are a really big deal for us, too. We love searching for the perfect gifts, decorating the tree, and indulging in Christmas treats. In fact, the very first catalog that our grandparents mailed out, way back in 1946, was to the folks on their Christmas card list. So, if you’re getting ready for your favorite time of year too, remember:  be good to your family, show kindness to others, and keep creating your own cherished Christmas traditions.
